Robert (Preacher Bob) Lee McCurry

Robert Lee McCurry (Preacher Bob) went home Thursday morning August 17, 2023 surrounded by his wife and children. Bob was the son of the late Hanford and Bonnie McCurry.

He lived a simple life and delivered a simple message, Jesus, the One and only way. He was happiest spending time with his wife, children, and most of all his grandchildren.

Preacher Bob is survived by his wife Carolyn of 56 years, son Bryan (Judy), daughter Beth (Neal), and son Israel (Lyndsi), grandchildren: Zoey McCurry, Peyton Cornett, Gabriel Cornett, Colton Singleton, Jackson McCurry, Deegan McCurry, and Judson McCurry, sisters: Joyce M. Jenkins and Linda Sechrist (Ed), brothers in law: Larry King (Nora), Gary King (Amy), and sisters in law: San Morris (Philip), and Karen McGrady, several nieces and nephews, special friend John Stewart (Karen), and his Spring Creek Family.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 11:00AM  in Spring Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Proffitt and Bro. Randy English officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Johnson City, TN.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Emily, Brittany, Haley, Mariah, Travis, and Josh for their excellent care of their beloved "Pappy".
