Ricky Dean Carpenter, age 54, on Spruce Pine, NC passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at his home. He was the son of  Billy Ray and Shirley Green Carpenter and was the owner of Rick's Seamless Guttering Company.

 Rick was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Larry "Beamer" Carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Eller Carpenter of the home; sons: Bradley Dean Carpenter and Ricky Lee Carpenter both of Spruce Pine; step son: Joseph Myron Harris of Johnson City; sister, Coleen Carpenter Hughes of Morganton, NC and a brother, Russell Carpenter of Spruce Pine; 4 grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00PM in First Baptist Church Spruce Pine, with Rev. Rocky Branch officiating.
