Nancy "Sue" (Wilson) Hobson

Nancy "Sue" Wilson Hobson, age 79, of Hwy 261, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord, October 20, 2018. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Dayton and Anna Lee Cain. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Cloudland Baptist Church. She retired from Mitchell County Agricultural Extension Office where she was a Nutritionist. She loved her flowers, and spending time with her family, and her church family.

Survivors include: her sons; Tim Hobson (Kelly), Ken Hobson (Loretta), and Roger Hobson (Bobbi), all of Bakersville, NC, two sisters; Pat Danner and Cathie Johnson, both of Hickory, NC, six grandchildren; Josh, Shane, Joe, Dustin, and Shannon Hobson, and April Glenn, three great grandchildren; Mavrick, Jennie, and Cadie Grace Hobson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; James "Jim" Norris Hobson, and two brothers; Jim and Raymond Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2:00PM in Cloudland Baptist Church with Danny Silvers and Clayton McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
