Myrtle Ruth (Duncan) Grindstaff

Myrtle Ruth Duncan Grindstaff went to her heavenly home May 10, 2022 she was the Daughter of the late Jerry Duncan and Elma Sparks Duncan. She was proceeded in death by her Husband Buster Grindstaff, 5 Brothers and 4 sisters. Ruth enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, doing hair and anything she could do to take care of family, friends, neighbors or even a stranger.

Left to cherish her memory are Daughters Lisa Queen (Tim) and Kristy Huskins (Mitch), Grandchildren whom she cherished Emma Queen, Tanner Queen, Tyler Huskins and Abby Huskins, Brother Jerry Duncan (Annette) and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and so many people who’s lives she touched.

Private extended family service Thursday May 12, 2022 at 1 pm at Bear Creek Baptist Church. Link for viewing service at YouTube channel Bear Creek Baptist 327. Family asks in honor of Ruth and what she would do, instead of bringing food for family, take food to someone in need and in Lieu of flowers donate to Bear Creek Baptist Church Building fund or Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge.
