Mattie Burleson, 81, of Reidsville , NC passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 in the Annie Penn Hospital . A native of Mitchell County , she was the daughter of the late Stokes and Naomi Greene Burleson. Mattie was one of fifteen children which included: Pless, Nona, Lona, Susie, Dessie, Jay, Lena , Myrl, Mae, Jack, Avery, Betty Lou, Corine, and Lee.

Mattie's children are: Danny Mason and wife Linda; Mike Mason and wife Deanna Deborah Mason; Judy Lanfair; Frank Mason (deceased); Jim Mason and wife Angie; grandchildren: Tammy, Timmie, Todd, Misty, Michael, Sonya, Mandy, Tommy, Lloyd, Tammy, Jackie, Kimberly, Linda, Frankie, T.J., Judy, Amy, Jimmy, Justin, Jared and Daniel.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Cane Creek Cemetery .
