Clarise Norma Jackson

Clarise Norma Jackson, age 89, of Hwy 226 N, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord February 5, 2020. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Norman and Hettie Pittman McKinney. She was retired from ATT in Baltimore.

Clarise attended Little Rock Creek Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church and was a member of Order of The Eastern Star in Baltimore, MD. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed her flowers and her special pet "Angel".

Survivors include: special nephew; Michael E. Buchanan (Debra), of Bakersville, NC, great nephews; Michael D. Buchanan (Susan), and Matthew Buchanan (Jill), one great great niece; Madison Faith Buchanan, and one aunt; Dee Pittman.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Clark Jackson, and her sister Dorothy Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Chris Rathbone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Pittman Cemetery (Henson Creek Rd).
