Charlene Putman

Charlene Putman, age 59, of the Buladean Community, Bakersville, NC  passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Madeline Mosley Putman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Gardner; brothers: Randy, Ray, Roger, Donald, and Guy Putman and 1 niece and 3 nephews.

Charlene attended Fork Mountain Church of Jesus Christ. She also loved her family and she loved working outdoors and being out in nature. She also enjoyed working on cars and lawnmowers.

Charlene is survived by her sister, Daisy P. Hoilman; brothers: Charles, Adren, and Billy Joe Putman all of Buladean; she is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Spanky and Scooby.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2023 in the Fork Mountain Church of Jesus Christ with Pastor Doug Honeycutt and Bro. G.B. Garland officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mosley Cemetery.
