Carrington Rachael Harris Honeycutt, age 25, of the Cane Creek Community, Bakersville, NC passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at her home.

Carrington was a bright sunflower that radiated joy and laughter. Her smile was contagious and her love knew no limits. Her sense of humor and compassionate heart touched everyone who knew her. She was the best wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend.  Carrington was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Roan Mountain Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and helping in the nursery. She was a talented photographer and loved playing with her doggies. More than anything, Carrington  loved taking care of her husband and her little girl. 

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Lukas Honeycutt; daughter, Lydia Gayle Honeycutt; mom, Crystal Hinson; dad, Shawn Harris; maternal grandmom, Debra Hinson; paternal grandmom, Wanda McKinney (Wayne); paternal granddad, Fred Harris (Debra); special mother and father in law, Tim and Caroline Honeycutt.

She was predeceased by her step dad, Chris Moore and her maternal granddad, James Hinson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2023 in the Roan Mountain Baptist Church with Pastor Russell McKinney and Rev. Mark McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Roan Mountain #2 Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
