Bobbie (Reece) Styles died December 2 at Brian Center following a period of declining health.
He was preceded in death by his parents Talmage Styles and Carrie S. Reece.
Survivors include his wife Susie, former wives Mattie, Vickie, and Annette. Children; Brent, Bobby L. and Teresa (Mattie), Bobby H. Jr. (Vickie), Brandie (Annette), and 10 grandchildren.
Bob was a complex and versatile man. He was an accomplished multi sport athlete in his youth who later coached youth sports for many years. His military service ended after six years with a severe injury that plagued him for the rest of his life.
He operated several successful businesses of different types summarized well by Brent. "He could build a house, repair a car engine, design and build a commercial waterslide, do the butterfly with me on his back, find great camping spots, break hearts, create smiles. Biggest smartest baddest man I knew for a long long time". Rest in peace.
A private family service will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Doug Harrell officiating. All are welcome to attend the graveside service following the funeral service at Byrd Cemetery in the Red Hill community, with military honors being provided by Sgt EL Randolph Chapter 57 DAV.
Memorials may be made to any Hospice organization of ones choice, or to The Mitchell County Animal Rescue.
