DATELINE; BAKERSVILLE, NC

Beulah Butler Gardner, age 64 of Hwy 226, Bakersville, NC passed away November 6, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a Native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late William Brown and Ethel Clark Butler. She attended Woodby Hill Baptist Church and was employed as a CNA Caps Worker with Mitchell County.

Survivors include her husband; Fred Gardner, of the home, four sisters; Betty Hopson, of Elizabethton, TN, Bonnie Gouge, of Unicoi, TN, Beverly Woodby and husband Ken, of Unicoi, TN, and Joy McKinney, of Bakersville, NC, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Cross and a brother, Michael Butler.

Funeral services will Be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 7:00PM in the chapel of Henline – Hughes Funeral Home with GB Garland and Lester Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 1:00PM at Beans Creek Cemetery.
