Vicki Lynn Hoilman Roland, age 46 of State Street, Marion, NC passed away October 22, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and employed by One Love Therapy for Kids as a Teacher.

She attended Yancey Street Baptist Church in Marion, NC. Vicki was a dedicated mother, and nana. She loved traveling, and enjoyed making friends. She was an optimist her cup was "always half full", and she loved to make people around her happy. She was an avid learner and enjoyed attending school.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hunter Hoilman.

Survivors include: her mother and stepfather; Sue Honeycutt and husband Frank, of Bakersville, NC, three children; Dustin Hogan, of Spruce Pine, NC, Danielle Madden and husband TJ, of Old Fort, NC, and Jacob Stewart, of the home, a sister; Lisa Holder, and husband Tony, of Bakersville, NC, and one grandchild; Elijah Madden.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Johnny Chastain officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Slagle Cemetery (John Canipe Rd.).
