Timothy Keith Willis, age 59, of Bear Creek Church Rd went home to be with the Lord November 5, 2018. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Bobby and Mae Duncan Willis. He was a member of Ledger Baptist Church. Tim was a graduate of Bowman High School, a former Mitchell County Transportation employee, and manager of the ABC store in Spruce Pine, NC.

Survivors include: his wife; Robin Willis, of the home, two brothers; Roger Lee Willis (Marie), of Spruce Pine, NC, Danny Ray Willis (Jewel), of Glen Alpine, NC, a sister in law; Lori Pitman, of Bakersville, NC, a brother in law; Alan Pitman (Sandra), of Newland, NC, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 3:00PM in Ledger Baptist Church with Randy Bonner, Vern Grindstaff, and Don Stafford officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Cane Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rick Duncan, Lucas Pitman, Bill Byrd, Mark Harris, Todd Stamey, and Will Yelton. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Phillip Jarrett, Michael Emerson, John Schrapper, Mark McKinney, Stan Elkins, Harry Anderson, and Darren Mitchell.
