Tillie Viola Tipton, 75 of Green Mtn, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Carlos and Minnie Porter Wiley from West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tipton; sister: Roberta Donnally; brothers: Allen, Bill, Kenneth and Carlos Wiley Jr. Tillie was a member of the Brummits Creek Church of the Brethren and attended the Upper Free Will Baptist Church. She also enjoyed farming and gardening.

Survivors include three daughters: Melissa Whitson (David) of Green Mtn, Adaline Albright and Tina Mangus (Phillip) all of West Virginia; son, Paul Tipton of Green Mtn; sisters: Rose Mary Brown, Vanessa Smith and Helen Tabor all of West Virginia and Shirley Browning of Spring Lake, NC; grandchildren: Nicole, Jessica, Adam and Phillip; great grandchildren: Ethan, Brody, Manie and Connor; Tillie also leaves behind her beloved Chihuahuas, Barney and Andy.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the Whitson-Garland Cemetery on Beans Creek Rd. with Rev. Rick Bennett officiating.
