Shirley Blevins Riddle, 81 of Bakersville, NC passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Dollie Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duell Riddle, and her sister, Laura Bell Garland. Shirley loved her flowers and she attended Fork Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons: Ricky Riddle of Morganton and Keith Riddle (Darlene) of Bakersville; her daughters: Brenda Buchanan of Spruce Pine and Lesa Crisp (Brent) of Bakersville; sister, Dixie Renfro of Bakersville ; brother, Bruce Blevins (Betty) of Bakersville; also 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will by 1:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2020 in the Fork Mountain Baptist Church with Pastor John McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Roan Mtn #2 Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Home Care of the Blue Ridge, 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
