Sheree Forbes Wells, 65, of Spruce Pine, NC passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at her home after a brief illness. A native of Henderson, NC, she was the daughter of the late Nelson "Red" Forbes and Agnes Sparks Forbes. Sheree was a member of the Big Crabtree Baptist Church. She loved her church family. She also enjoyed working in her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sheree is survived by her husband, Larry Wells; her son, Josh Wells (Keeley) of Bakersville; step children: Jeremy Wells (Melissa) of Franklinton, NC and Hannah Wells Robinson (Landon) of Henderson, NC; her granddaughter, Haley Wells and step grandchild, Camden Wells; sister, Mia Stafford of Raleigh, NC and her brother, Dana Forbes (Laurie) also of Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the Big Crabtree Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rathbone officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM at the church.
