Shelby Gean Miller, 75, of Lenoir , NC passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home. A native of Minneapolis , NC , she was the daughter of the late Ira and Ethel Wright and the wife of the late Herbert Miller. She was also preceded in death by one sister, three brothers, and three children.

Shelby is survived by daughters: Lecia Ramos of Florida and Debbie Gomez of Morganton; son, George Nelson Miller and wife Tracy of Lenoir; sisters: Vern Hartsoe and RomaLee Richards, both of Lenoir and Mildred Freedman of Spear, NC; brothers: Kenneth Wright of Elk Park, NC and Dean Wright of Minneapolis, NC; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; special friends: Bunny Niehaus and April Gresham.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon , Sunday, March 11, 2108 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery in Newland , NC .
