Scarlett Anne Gouge Quinn, age 46 of Hwy 226 N Bakersville, NC passed away July 19, 2024. Scarlett was born in Burke County to James and Calla Byrd Gouge.

She was a member of Red Hill Methodist Church and graduated Mitchell High School in Bakersville, NC and UNCW in Wilmington, NC. Scarlett enjoyed swimming, traveling, dancing, and especially spending time with her family and friends. She had a happy childhood growing up and playing with her cousins. She will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit and her loving and sweet smile. Her biggest hobby was collecting and selling Barbie Dolls.

Survivors include: her husband, Christopher Quinn, her parents James and Calla Byrd Gouge, two children: Macie Cierra Quinn and Gracie Mae Quinn, one stepson, Corbin Quinn, one brother, James Gouge Jr., her grandfather, Bradley Byrd, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Brown and Lonnie V. Gouge and her Maternal grandmother Pauline Jones Byrd.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Peterson and Reverend Trent Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the Byrd Cemetery in Red Hill, NC.
