Ruth Carver

Ruth Odom Carver, age 79, of Bakersville, NC, passed away June 1, 2026. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC, and a daughter of the late Brown and Delia Odom. She was employed at Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC, for many years and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her husband.

Survivors include her loving husband, Mike Carver, and two special nephews, Josh and Justin Carver.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by two brothers, Ralph and Roy Odom.

Per her wishes, private graveside services will be held.
