Ruth Carver

Ruth Odom Carver, age 79, of Bakersville, NC, passed away June 1, 2026. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC, and a daughter of the late Brown and Delia Odom. She was employed at Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC, for many years and enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, loving the Lord, and spending time with her loving husband.

Survivors include her loving husband, Mike Carver, and two special nephews, Josh and Justin Carver, her niece Kristy Carver, great nephew Levi Ledford, great nieces Nora, Maggie, and Lena Carver, and great nephews Thatcher and Deacon Carver.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by two brothers, Ralph and Roy Odom, and a niece Kelly Carver.

Per her wishes, private graveside services will be held.
