Ruby (Byrd) Davis, 89, of Hanover, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017.  She was the wife of the late Loye Davis, who died in December 1968.

Ruby was born January 20, 1928, in Mitchell Co., NC, the daughter of the late Bill and Panzora (Renfro) Byrd.

Ruby is survived by four daughters, Linda S. DelCampo of York, Margaret A. Morris of Duncannon, Deborah J. French of Hanover, and Rhonda Myers of York, five sons, Lloyd J. Davis of TN, James R. Davis of Hanover, Terry L. Davis of Denver, George W. Davis of Buena Vista, CO, and Daniel K. Davis of New Oxford, 83 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and two brothers, Ed Byrd of FL and Billy Byrd of TN.  She was predeceased by a daughter.

A funeral service will be held December 6, 2017 at 1:00PM in Beans Creek Freewill Baptist Church with George Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Beans Creek Cemetery.
