Ronald Lee Sanders of Bakersville, NC passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, in the VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC,  two days before his 71st  birthday. He was the son of the late John Henry and Wilma Ingram Sanders. Ronald was a veteran of the US Army and Navy and he was a retired machinist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Dale Sanders and a sister, Barbara Ann Rackley.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Linda S. Morgan of Bakersville; son, Allen Sanders; nieces: Suzanne Hunt and Melissa Andrews and several cousins.
