Funeral services for Ronald Dean Peterson, 75, of Green Mtn, NC will be 8:00 pm Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Ronald Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will be 11:00 am Friday in the George Peterson Cemetery .

Ronald was the son of the late Bob and Frances Barnett Peterson. He was a member of the Bailey Brethren Church and he was a carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, "the love of his life", Carolyn Thomas Peterson in 2001.

Surviving are his two sons: Kevin and Kyle Peterson both of Green Mtn; grandsons: Joshua and Noah Peterson; sisters: Wanda Peterson of Erwin, TN, Arlene Moffitt of Johnson City, Kathleen Vestal of Trinity, NC, Jan Kindley of Thomasville, NC and Brenda Alsup of Archdale, NC.
