Roger Lee Gouge, age 75 of South Hwy 226, Bakersville, NC passed away October 23, 2021. He was a son of the late Brown and Lonnie Vance Gouge. He was a former employee of Baxter Healthcare for 31 years and owner and operator of Ace Hardware (Ledger, NC). Roger enjoyed life, and his friends. He loved his family and his dog Harley.

Survivors include his wife Judy Silver Gouge,  one son, Rodney Gouge (Sherri), of Bakersville, NC, three sisters: Margaret Troutman, of Richmond, VA, Ethel Crawford, and Mary Hall, of Bakersville, NC, two brothers; James and Gene Gouge, of Bakersville, NC, two grandsons: Austin and Aaron Gouge, step grandchildren; Lacey Jones, (Aaron), of Bakersville, Laura Honeycutt (Fayte), of Johnson City TN, great grandkids; Ava, London, and Ridge Jones, of  Bakersville, NC.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Gouge Family Cemetery.
