Robert (Bob) Lee Greene

Robert (Bob) Lee Greene 86 of Bakersville, NC passed away on April 11, 2024.  He was the son of the late Pat Greene and Lillian Burleson Greene.  He was also preceded in death by a Son, David Greene, Sisters, Louise Tipton and Dorothy Greene and one Brother, Pat Greene Jr.

Robert was a Member at Cane Creek Baptist Church and worked as an Insurance Agent for Fortner's Insurance in Spruce Pine and Burnsville.  Robert enjoyed music and sang in the Church choir.  He also enjoyed westerns and all sports.

Survivors include: his wife of 63 years, Sue Woody Greene, son, Doug Greene (Tracy) of Mooresville, NC.  Grandchildren, Logan Humphreys (Charlie), Adam Greene (Mary Peyton), Taylor Greene, and Brennan Greene, Great Grandchildren, Emma Humphreys, Owen Humphreys, Natalie Humphreys, and Jack Greene.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 15th at 2PM in the Cane Creek Cemetery.  Mark McKinney will officiate the service.
