Robert Anthony "Tony" Gardner, 54, of the Estatoe Community passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at his home after a period of declining health. He was the son of the late Robert Gardner and Sylvia Gardner. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Charlton and a nephew, Eddie Charlton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Trinity; sisters, Sally Byrd (Sam) and Debra Dugas (Max); brothers, Victor Charlton, John Charlton, Rick Gardner (Patty) and Mickey Gardner (Garett); aunt, Polly Taylor-Reed and uncle, James Gardner; cousins, Dawn Groff, Sam Moffitt (Courtney); nieces, Samantha Byrd, Melissa Roberts (Daniel), Amanda Buchanan (Ronnie), and Madison Silvers (Zac) and nephew, John-Claude Charlton. Tony worked many years logging for his Uncle James and later worked as a truck driver. He loved riding motorcycles and family gatherings. The greatest joy of his life was his daughter Trinity. Tony became a father at the age of 50.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on August 19th at the Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ. Pastor G.B. Garland will officiate.
