Regina Darlene Garland, age 71, of the Beans Creek Community, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Doris Blackstien Rhinecker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Garry Lee Garland and her grandmother, Florence Rhinecker.

Regina was a member of Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ where she along side her husband, Pastor G.B. Garland, served faithfully. She loved to cook for her family and friends and she enjoyed being outside. Regina loved her children and great grandchildren with all her heart.

Regina is survived, in addition to her husband Pastor G.B. Garland, her sons, Kurt Bradley Garland and Joshua Landon Garland both of Bakersville; daughter, Donna Jean Garland Yelton and husband Chad of Bakersville; sisters: Bonnie Warehime (Ronnie)  and Deborah Lynn Turner (Joe) all of New Windsor, MD; brother, Clarence "Bud" Rhinecker; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Riddle, Brianna Buchanan, Emily Garland, Landon Garland and Zackery Yelton and 2 great grandchildren, Braylee Duncan and Easton Riddle.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2021 in the Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ with Pastor David Byrd, Brother Larry Garland and Pastor Douglas Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Beans Creek Cemetery.
