Randy Douglas Putman, age 57, of Jones Garland Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away March 23, 2019 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and self employed in farming. He attended Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ. Randy enjoyed being in the mountains and the outdoors and especially liked trading and selling cars.

Survivors include: his mother; Madeline Mosley Putman, of Bakersville, NC, one daughter; Jewel Putman, of Spruce Pine, NC, three sisters; Daisy Hoilman, Phyllis Gardner, and Charlene Putman, all of Bakersville, NC, three brothers; Charles and Adern Putman, both of Bakersville, NC, and Billy Joe Putman, of Unicoi, TN, and one step grandchild; Jada Love Valentine.

He was preceded in death by; his father; Arthur (Aught) Putman, and four brothers; Donald, Ray, Roger, and Guy Putman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with GB Garland, Mike Peterson, and Doug Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Mosley Cemetery (Bowman Rd).
