DATELINE; TAMPA, FLORIDA/ BAKERSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA

Ralph Vernon Street, age 93 of North Florida Ave, Tampa, Florida formerly of Bakersville, North Carolina passed away January 4, 2015 at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Calvin and Rose Bennett Street. He was retired from a career in Teaching in The Public School System.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Moffitt Street.

Survivors include; his daughter; Cynthia Riddle, of Tampa, Florida, and one son; Larry Street, also of Tampa, Florida, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bennett Cemetery.
