Ralph Franklin Forbes, age 77, of Mulberry Lane, Bakersville, NC passed away November 6, 2019. He was born in Carter County, TN to the late Earl and Etta Hoilman Forbes. He was self employed as a farmer. Ralph was a member of Rockdale Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one sister; Mary Forbes Dellinger (Jim), of Bakersville, NC, one brother; Carroll Forbes (Debra), of Bakersville, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by: two sisters; Florence Dowell, and Judy Honeycutt, and one brother; Earl Forbes Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Kent Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Russ Memorial Cemetery.
