Rachel Edwards Lomas, age 80, of Bakersville, NC passed away December 14, 2020. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Tevis and Nell Buchanan Edwards. She was a graduate of Bowman High School in Bakersville, NC and a member of Warwick United Methodist Church in Newport News, Virginia. She was retired from Newport News Shipbuilding and also The City of Newport News, Virginia where she worked in administration.

Survivors include her husband Randal Musick, one daughter Rhonda Lynne O'Donnell (Mike), of Bakersville, NC and one son Anthony Craig Musick, of Florida, and two grandchildren: Dwayne Askew and Ashley O'Donnell.

A graveside service will be announced at a later time.
