Dateline : Spruce Pine

Presley Grey Burks infant daughter of Colby and Maura Cheyenne Manis Burks went to sleep and woke up in the arms of Jesus November 25, 2023.

Although her life was short she left a lasting love in the hearts of those she left behind. She was truly too beautiful for this earth and now she has taken her place in Heaven with the angels.

Survivors include her parents, one brother Spencer Blake Burks and twin sister Teagan Rebecca Burks, grandparents David and Stacey Manis, of Spruce pine, NC, great grandparents Oliver Corbin and Royce Burleson, aunts and uncles: Isaiah Manis (Deanna), of Spruce Pine, NC, and Taylor Street (Andrew), also of Spruce Pine, NC, cousins: Wyatt, Elijah, Lenox, and Liam.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Nancy Corbin, Barbara Burks, Danny Burks, Rebecca Burleson and Dee Manis.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00PM in Big Crabtree Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rathbone officiating. Please wear yellow to honor Presley. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
