Phyllis Diane Young Hise, age 70, of Dallas Young Rd., Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord February 9, 2021. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late Dallas and Dorothy Edwards Young. She was formerly employed with Hampshire Hosiery and was a member of Roan Mountain Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and her church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert (Bob) Richard Hise of the home, one daughter Marissa Edwards (CJ), of Johnson City, TN, one grandchild Luke Edwards, and one brother D. Edward Young (Dee), of Spruce Pine, NC.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Richard Allen Young.

A private burial will be held at Green Young Cemetery at a later date.
