Peggy Jean Fritz, age 64, of Richmond Rd., Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord, August 24, 2019. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late James and Georgia Benge Fritz. She attended Beans Creek Church of The Lord Jesus Christ, and was previously employed with Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Spruce Pine, NC.

Survivors include: one sister; Brenda Fritz, of Bakersville, NC, cousins; Lee Benge Ollis, of Spruce Pine, NC, Linda Leach and Brandon Leach, and Barbara Byrd, all of Bakersville, NC.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by: three brothers; Eddie Wayne, Danny Ray, and James Clingmon Fritz.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 7:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with GB Garland and Larry Garland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00AM at Butler Cemetery (Hwy 226 Buladean Community).
