Patsy Gouge Freeman, age 63 of Jarrett Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away January 13, 2020. She was a homemaker and caregiver born in Buncombe County, NC to the late Johnny and Ruby Duncan Gouge. She was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She attended Mayland Community College.

Survivors include: Her husband, Waits Junior Freeman, and sons, John Justin Freeman, and Chris Freeman, and many friends and neighbors.

Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
