Patsy Cadell, age 74 of Battle Branch Rd, Bakersville, NC went  home to be with the Lord January 7, 2018. She was a native of Hinton Oklahoma and a daughter of the late Orval and Agnes Carroll Hoselton.

She was secretary treasurer at Cadell Foundry in Bakersville, NC. She was active in Bakersville Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Patsy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved working in food distribution ministries in Denton, Texas and Bakersville, North Carolina. She was a special critic in foundry and sculpture, and was previously employed as a nurse aid In Oklahoma City.

Survivors include her husband George Cadell, of the home, one daughter Melisa D. Cadell, of Bakersville, NC, one son George Wayne Cadell, of Portsmouth, Virginia, grandchildren Ana Jewel, Benjamin, Zoë, Piper, and Magena.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her brother Dwayne Hoselton.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00PM in Bakersville Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bakersville Baptist Church.
