Oscar Pore, age 83, of Bakersville, NC passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 in the Waters of Roan Highlands in Roan Mtn, TN. He was the son of the late Charles and Rossie McKinney Pore. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Lynn Pore; his son, Michael James Pore; daughters, Elizabeth Pauline Pore and Shirley Pore; brothers, Wade, Steve and Jess Pore; sisters, Pauline Treadway and Ruby Frazier. Oscar was a minister for 47 years and he loved to fish and hunt. He was also a US Army veteran serving in Germany.

Survivors include his wife, Daisy Barnett Pore of Bakersville; sons, Douglas Oscar Pore, Tommy Dwight Pore (Molly) and John Wesley Pore all of Bakersville; sisters, Wanda Pore of Jonas Ridge, NC and Joyce Masters of Rockwood, TN; brother, Charles Pore of Rockwood, TN; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 in the Byrd Cemetery with Pastor GB Garland, Doug Honeycutt and Kevin Putman officiating.
