Nancy Barnett Corbin, age 78 of Spruce Pine, NC passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Elsie Collins Barnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ed Barnett and Junior Barnett and 1 sister, Shirley Sheets. She was a member of the Beans Creek Church of Jesus Christ.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Shorty Corbin; sons: Daniel Manis (Tammy) of Elizabethton, TN, David Manis (Stacey) of Spruce Pine, and Jason Corbin of Spruce Pine; daughter, Brenda Hughes of Five Point, TN, sisters: Martha Hill, Temple Street and Daisy Poore all of Buladean, NC; brothers, Allen Barnett of Bakersville and Randy Barnett of Spruce Pine;  grandchildren: Dalton Hughes and wife Breanna, Taylor Street and husband Andrew, Isaiah Manis and wife Deanna, Ashleigh Hughes (Joshua), Maura Burks and husband Colby, Jada Manis and Zana Finley; great grandchildren:  Wyatt Manis, Elijah Manis, Lenox Manis, Liam Street, Raven Hughes, Spencer Burks and Jocelyn and Teslah Jewett.

Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Monday, September 20, 2021 in the Grindstaff Cemetery, Duck Branch Rd, Bakersville, NC.
