Mosie Laws Jr. passed away on November 15, 2018. He was the son of the late Mosie Sr. and Layuna Davis Laws and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Laws.

Mosie is survived by his wife, Doris Frye Laws, son Allen Laws; grandson, A.J. Laws; brothers, Lawrence and Milton Laws.

Funeral services were held on November 20, 2018 in the Maiden First Freewill Baptist Church in Maiden, NC. Burial was in the Catawba Memorial Park.
