Mary Frances Wise, age 81 of Spring Creek Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with her Lord, April 7, 2015 . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Floyd and Elsie Tipton Callahan. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church and previously employed with Baxter Healthcare. She loved gardening, her flowers, and being outdoors.

Survivors include; two daughters; Carolyn Redden (Tommy), and Donna Wyatt (Roger), all of Bakersville, NC, three sons; Danny Wise (Janet), Eddie Wise (Cheryl), and Michael Wise (Darlene), all of Bakersville, NC, one sister; Linda Faye Freeman of Bakersville, NC, two brothers; Eddie Wayne Callahan of Shelby, NC, and Ronnie Callahan of Bakersville, NC, eight grandchildren; Tammy, Ashley, Christy, Jonathan, Joshua, Stephanie, Chad, and Jessica, thirteen great grandchildren; Jordan, Abigail, Lukus, Payton, Quinci, McKenzie, Hunter, Holden, Kolten, Blake, Arianna, Shaylee, and Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edd Wise, brothers; David, and Floyd Jr. Callahan, and a granddaughter Jennifer Wyatt.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 8:00PM in the Chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Ronnie Gouge, Randy Wise and Mike Rathbone officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00AM at Cane Creek Cemetery #1.
