Mary H. Harrison, age 90 of Walnut Creek Drive, Marshall , NC went home to be with the Lord, February 3, 2017 . She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late W. C. and Fannie Buchanan Huskins. She was previously employed by The Mitchell News Journal.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband; Bill Harrison, her sisters; Arlie Wolf, Charlotte Troutman, Dorothy Follett, Joan Hughes, and brothers; Jack Huskins, Ray Huskins, and half  sister; Thelma Buchanan.

Survivors include; Margaret Church, of Norwich , NY , and Bette Davis, of Charlottesville , Virginia , several loving nieces and nephews, and her Pomeranian dog; Teddy.

A graveside service will be held Thursday February 9, 2017 at 3:00PM at Buchanan Cemetery with Larry Greene officiating.
