Marshall Lee Williams, 79, of Spruce Pine, NC passed away on April 5, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Cecil and Atlas Huskins Williams. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and Marshall enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Marie Williams; his son, Nicholas Williams of Spruce Pine; brother, Paul Williams of Marion, NC and grandson, Marshall Joseph Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Exan Stafford.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2022 in the Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Cass Buchanan and Kevan Buchanan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
