Margie Louise Weeks Ledford, age 88 of Hwy 226 South, Bakersville , NC passed away March 10, 2015 . She was a daughter of the late Rector and Fronia Sparks Weeks and a homemaker. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church .

Survivors include; four daughters; Eloise Ledford of Bakersville, NC, Rita Burleson and husband Phillip of Icard, NC, Kathy McKinney and husband Marvin of Newton, NC, and Elizabeth Poteat and husband Kenny of Marion, NC, two sons; Jerry Ledford and wife Thurlene of Burnsville, NC and Keith Ledford and wife Mary of Bakersville, NC, one sister; Hazel Weeks of Bakersville, NC, eighteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Ledford, a son Roger Clifton Ledford, and a sister Mae Ledford.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Tommy Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00AM at Burleson Cemetery ( Gouge Cove Rd ).
