Marcia Ann Blanton McNeill, age 71, of White Oak Rd., Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord November 2, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Marcus and Annabelle Wilson Blanton, and formerly employed with First Union Bank for 17 years. She was a graduate of Bowman High School, and attended Gardner Webb University. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband; James Melvin McNeill, one son; Chad Blanton Slagle (Gina), of Deep Gap, NC, one stepdaughter; Jeanne Butler (Ronald), of Fayetteville, NC, one stepson; Jim McNeill (Michelle), of Georgia, one brother; Alfred Blanton (Bobbie), of Bakersville, NC, two grandchildren; Corbin and Brynn Slagle, three step grandchildren; Sarah Stricker, Joshua Butler, and Michael McNeill, one great grandchild; Wayne McNeill; special niece, Beth Brewer (Jeff); great nephews; Bryan and Trevor Brewer, and a great niece; Brooke Brewer.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3: 00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Andrew McKinney and Larry Greene officiating.
