Madeline Mosley Putman, age 94 of Jones Garland Rd, Bakersville, NC went home to be with the Lord April 19, 2020. She was a daughter of the late George and Ellen Bowman Mosley and a native of Mitchell County, NC.

Madeline loved life, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great great grandchildren. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and her special pet "Bo".

Survivors include: three daughters; Daisy Hoilman, Phyllis Ann Gardner, and Charlene Putman, all of Bakersville, NC, three sons; Charles and Adren Putman, both of Bakersville, NC, and Billy J. Putman, of Unicoi, TN, one sister; Olene Putman, 32 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by: her husband Arthur Putman, sons; Randy, Arthur, Roger, Donald, and Guy Putman, 7 grandchildren, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

A private graveside will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Mosley Cemetery with Mike Peterson, Doug Honeycutt, and G. B. Garland officiating.
