Louvella Arrowood, age 63, of the Buladean Community, Bakersville, NC passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 12, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Carrie Lee Barnett Yelton.

Louvella was a member of Middle District Free Will Baptist Church and attended Odoms Chapel  Free Will Baptist Church. She was a nurse serving Blue Ridge Regional Hospital and several private practices over the years and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved to sew.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jimmy Arrowood; daughter, Christy Cain (Adam); son, Aaron Arrowood (DeAnna); sisters: Angie Hopson (Sherrill) and Elenia Yelton; brother, Eugene Yelton; grandchildren: Emma Arrowood, Kolder Cain and Cadance Cain; also several uncles, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the William Harrison Street Cemetery on Pine Root Road, Bakersville, NC with Rev. Marvin Hensley officiating. Memorials may be made to the Odoms Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Odoms Chapel Road, Bakersville, NC 28705.
