Lora Ledford South, 49, of Banner Elk, NC passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in the Watauga Medical Center. She was the daughter of Larry Dean and Christine Willis Ledford of Spruce Pine, NC. Lora loved animals and working with computers.

Survivors include, in addition to her parents, her husband, Stephen South of Banner Elk; children: Timmy Ledford of Spruce Pine, NC, Dylan McGee, Denise McGee, Dena McGee, and Danielle McGee all of Bakersville; sister, Janie Jimison of Marion, NC; brothers: Michael Ledford and Robert Ledford both of Spruce Pine.
