Lois Ann Gouge, age 76, of  Bakersville, NC passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 in the Smoky Ridge Health and Rehab in Burnsville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Jess and Ola Mae Benfield Yelton and was also preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Yelton and brothers, Dallas and Richard Yelton. She was a former member of the Brea Baptist Church and she loved to sing and listen to religious music.

Survivors include her daughter, Machelle DeHeva of Jefferson City, TN; her son, Larry Suiter and wife Holly of Bakersville; sister, Mae Wallace of New Market, TN; brothers, J.D. Yelton and Roger Dean Yelton both of Alexandria, VA; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held and memorials may be made to Smoky Ridge Health and Rehab, 310 Pensacola Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714.
