Larry Dean Greene, age 71, of  NC 261, Bakersville, NC passed away February 20, 2019. A native of Mitchell County, NC he was a son of Landon Greene Jr. and Natalie Hobson Greene. He obtained his degree in Radio Broadcasting and was office manager for DHS Express, and managed a large theater complex named Famous Player. He was a member of Fork Mountain Baptist Church. He loved animals and his friends.

Survivors include: his mother; Natalie Hobson Greene, of Bakersville, NC, brothers; William Gregory Greene (Jamie), of Church Hill, TN, and Bart Greene, of Bakersville, NC, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Landon Greene Jr.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in Henline - Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00PM in Fork Mountain Baptist Church, with John McKinney and Shane Gunter officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fork Mountain Cemetery.
