DATELINE; GREEN MOUNTAIN, NC

L. J. Peterson, age 85 of Green Mountain, NC passed away November 27, 2014 at The Center on Aging and Health in Erwin, TN. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Isaac and Roxie Peterson. He was self employed in farming.

Survivors include; two nieces; Crystal Campbell, of Green Mountain, NC, and Kim Craig, of Johnson City, TN, three nephews; Alan Edwards, and Darrell Edwards, both of Johnson City, TN, and Scott Edwards, of Bristol, VA, also surviving are many friends and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother in law Clinton Edwards, and a sister, Bergie P. Edwards.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Larry Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Flat Branch Cemetery.
