Kenny Grindstaff, age 77, of Clear View Rd, Bakersville, NC, went home to be with the Lord October 23, 2021. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and the son of the late Lewis and Pauline Buchanan Grindstaff. Kenny was self employed at Grindstaff Auto Body Repair. He was a member of Heaven Bound Church. He loved his family, church friends, his mountain, and his animals.

Survivors include: his wife, Alice Grindstaff, one daughter, Angela McKinney (Scott), one son, Kevin Grindstaff (Kelli), four grandchildren; Austin McKinney, Jessica Delp, Dana Grindstaff, and Danny Grindstaff, one great grandchild, Mae McKinney.

A private funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Wise and Reverend Steve Glenn officiating. All are invited to the graveside service following the funeral service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Double Island
