Kaye Buchanan Berg, age 76 of Elizabethton, TN passed away February 27, 2024. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Stokes and Ruth Yelton Palmer Buchanan. She was previously employed as a CNA in healthcare.

Kaye was a member of Milligan Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed crochet, needlework, gardening, canning, and cooking for her family.

Survivors include two sons: Gerald Berg and Rodney Buchanan, one sister Alma June Thomas, one brother Melvin Buchanan, and two grandchildren: Bradley and Brandon Buchanan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Patton Buchanan.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00AM at Garland Cemetery on Bad Creek Road, Bakersville, NC.
